Features of the industrial manipulator machine
Drive mechanism type
There are mainly four types of driving mechanisms for mechanical hands: hydraulic drive, pneumatic drive, electrical drive and mechanical drive. Among them, hydraulic drive and pneumatic drive are the most widely used.
Hydraulic drive
The hydraulic-driven manipulator is composed of a hydraulic motor (various oil cylinders, oil motors), servo valves, oil pumps, oil tanks, etc. to form a drive system, which drives the manipulator's actuator to work.
Pneumatic drive
The drive system is usually composed of cylinders, air valves, air tanks and air compressors, but it is difficult to control the speed and the air pressure cannot be too high, so the lifting capacity is relatively low.
Electrical drive
Electric drive is the most commonly used driving method for mechanical hands. The drive motor generally adopts stepper motors and DC servo motors (AC) as the main driving methods.
Mechanical drive
Mechanical drive is only used in situations where the action is fixed. Generally, CAM and link mechanisms are used to achieve the specified actions.
