Which products can a foundry manipulator be used for in casting?

Overview

Use the casting work of foundry manipulator, highlighting lightness and convenience. With the advantages of precise speed control, high-temperature resistance and repeatable operation, it can be adapted to the pouring scenarios of various metal and some non-metal products. So its application is very extensive, covering products from multiple industries. Its application depends on the requirements for repeatability, quality and safety during the casting process. Almost all medium and large-sized foundries that engage in mass production and have high quality requirements can use it.

Workflow

The Industrial Manipulator operates extremely flexibly and can handle pouring actions with ease in complex Spaces.

Turn on the power switch, activate the remote control system device, and the power will enter the operating state. Press the upward direction button on your right hand, and the ladle will rise. Press the downward direction button on your left hand, and the pouring bag will descend. When pouring and rotating the Angle, manual operation is convenient and fast, with a large rotation radius and simple and precise pouring operation. After the operation is completed, turn off the power.

Common applications

1. Automotive-related components

Casting manipulators are used for casting key components such as engine blocks, cylinder heads, gearboxes and other small and medium-sized castings of non-ferrous metals. These mechanical hands ensure that molten metal is removed from the holding furnace and precisely poured into molds, thereby generating high-quality castings with consistent dimensions and performance. Moreover, when combined with the production line, it can achieve batch production of accessories of different models.

2. Machinery manufacturing industry

It is used for casting various parts, such as gears, bearings and housing components. They require precision and high integrity, and need to be mass-produced. manipulator has the ability to handle heavy objects and perform precise movements. It can accurately inject molten metal into molds, stably transport large amounts of molten metal and complete the pouring, avoiding problems such as uneven flow and metal liquid splashing that occur during manual pouring, ensuring the production of durable and reliable mechanical parts.

3. Metallurgical industry

Metal products used for casting ingots, slabs and other small hardware accessories. Hydraulic casting manipulator can withstand high temperatures and harsh environments, and can meet its small-batch and multi-style gravity casting requirements, making it suitable for such demanding applications. They help to pour molten metal into the mold efficiently and safely, requiring a small amount of molten metal. The mini manipulator can achieve one-time pouring, improving production efficiency while reducing molten metal waste.

4. Heavy machinery and equipment

It can be used for machine tool structures: lathe beds, milling machine frames, and press frames. Pumps and valve casings: Complex impellers, volutes and valve bodies. Large gears and sprockets: Processing and casting work for mining, agricultural and power transmission accessories. For such large and heavy castings, mechanical arms have improved the safety and physical strength issues of manual pouring. This provides strength and stability for pouring a large amount of metal. Consistent cooling and solidification are required during the operation, which is achieved through repeated pouring processes.

5. Light industry

It is used in the electronics and light industries for casting smaller and more delicate components. For instance, they can be used to cast the casings of electronic devices or precision parts for watches and other small machinery.

Why choose Manipulator for pouring

In addition to the above applications, casting manipulators can also be used in various casting requirements and mold designs, helping foundries produce large batches of castings with high quality requirements or heavy/complex products, from small-scale production to large-scale industrial manufacturing in various casting processes. So choosing a Pouring Manipulator is a more competitive helper for your foundry in the industry.
